Why I am here.

Finding ways to make projects function when existing conditions are against you is a fun challenge. Challenging projects don’t seem like such an uphill struggle when working with a well-knit group of co-workers who provide feedback to your designs based on their broad range of design and practical experience.

What experience has taught me.

Not to be shocked when getting five different answers to a question from a single person. Deadlines always happen sooner, never later.

When I’m not at work I'm…..

Probably hanging out with my Great Dane, building something, cooking, making messes, or watching a movie.

What I am reading or have read lately.

Too many books from the Dune series, Ender's Game, a couple of textbooks, A Dance with Dragons (A Song of Ice and Fire - Game of Thrones), S., and Ready Player One.

Should probably do more, but occasionally help with friends' charity events.

Volunteered in the past with Habitat for Humanity & the American Stroke Association; support the efforts of Faith Mission; & donate to the annual fund for my alma mater, Barnard College, to pay it forward for the support I received as a student.

What experience has taught me.

The more that I learn, the more I realize how much more I need to learn.  The only thing that is constant is change.  Integrity never goes out of style.

When I’m not at work I…..

Am a competitive water skier.  I also enjoy snow skiing, disc golf, bad golf, bad tennis, clay shooting, R/C airplanes, reading, fishing, bicycling, and camping. I especially enjoy spending time with my wife of 32 years and my daughter who is a graduating college soon.

Volunteer work at our church.  Adopt a highway litter clean up.

Why am I here?

After spending 32 years performing corporate surveying, I wanted to return to the more traditional type of surveying and more local projects with a quality-minded organization.

I enjoy reading novels by David Baldacci, John Grisham, Stuart Woods, James Patterson, Michael Crichton and other mystery and suspense novels.
