The new elementary school project entailed the design for a 70,000 square foot, 600-student elementary school on a 12-acre site. The site was generally clear and had a slight elevation drop from north to south and east to west. Near the north edge of the site, there was a wooded area that had to remain undisturbed and comply with Dublin’s tree replacement policy.
The new elementary school building project included a 70-car parking lot, entrance drives, playgrounds, and play fields which were constructed as required by Dublin City School and City of Dublin guidelines. The entrance to the site is located opposite the entrance to Glacier Ridge Metro Park, which required coordination of the work with the Metro Parks office.
