Sands Decker was part of a design team comprised of more than a dozen consultants for the project including the building of a new state-of-the-art library to replace the existing library, an underground parking garage, green space and walkways above the garage, and plans for a future academic building and admissions/financial aid building. Unique features of the project were the design of a large, LEED-certified rainwater cistern and underground detention.
We also collaborated with the talented team at GUND Partnership to bring these academic and student spaces to life through engineering and site development. From the striking Chalmers Library to the innovative North Campus Apartments, Oden Hall, and the Wright Center, these projects reflect our continued commitment to enhancing learning environments through thoughtful, collaborative design. Kenyon’s campus is more than just buildings, it’s a place of purpose, community, and inspiration. We’re proud to be a part of that legacy!
