Lake Hope State Park Dining Lodge

The historic Lake Hope State Park dining lodge was destroyed by fire in 2006. For the development of a new lodge, Sands Decker provided site civil design and survey services as well as design of a fire water storage tank and pump system. Sands Decker services included topographic mapping of the site to aid in the engineering design work associated with the project. Included in the surveying services we located the remaining foundation, the existing utilities, and a tree survey near the structure area. The topographic mapping was completed in one foot contours for design purposes. Complete site civil engineering construction documents including dimensional and grading plans were prepared, including parking expansion; pavement improvements; fire water storage tanks and service line; and other associated site improvements.
