Lancaster City Schools

Lancaster (OH) City Schools sought the design and construction of five new elementary schools and two new middle schools. Three elementary schools were to be constructed on sites with existing schools. The other two elementary schools and both middle schools would be developed on new sites. Sands Decker provided site civil engineering and surveying services for all seven schools and assisted with site selection and site civil cost estimating for the new sites. The scenic and hilly new sites required special attention to earthwork balance. All five projects were LEED certified.
