Hocking Hills Visitor Center at Old Man’s Cave

In June 2019, construction was completed on the new Hocking Hills Visitor Center at Old Man’s Cave. The new, two-story structure is 8,500 square feet, which is more than twice the size of the original structure. The new center showcases the history of the park, including geography, as well as an interactive simulated trail of the park.

The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) engaged Sands Decker to develop a plan and design the new visitor center. Sands Decker is proud to have been involved in yet another ODNR facility improvement. The design was developed so the setting would be most appropriate for this unique natural resource in Ohio.
