ODOT Maintenance Facility: Wayne County

The Wayne County ODOT Maintenance Facility project included development of a new prototype wood-frame building to accommodate an office, maintenance facility, truck storage, salt storage, a mixing structure, and cold storage. Sands Decker provided topographic survey and complete site civil design services including bidding and construction phase assistance.

Our services included demolition plans for several sites, preparation of construction drawings and specifications for site grading, site dimensional plan, site utilities, stormwater system design and calculations, and an erosion control plan. In addition to our design services, Sands Decker prepared construction specifications and provided construction administration status reports during bidding, award, and during the construction phase. Construction of the facility was completed in 2013.
