Nationwide Children’s Hospital Parking Lot Expansion – Lot 27

Nationwide Children’s Hospital purchased an entire city block and razed multiple structures to create a new 100 space parking lot near the hospital. The project involved extensive surveying services and civil engineering design, including the preparation of City of Columbus drawings for review and approval. In collaboration with a landscape architect and electrical engineer, Sands Decker created the site plan, landscape plan, and electric/communications/security plan for submission to the city for review.

Final civil engineering construction plans were developed including site demolition plan to raze eight existing structures; site dimension plan; site grading, storm sewer, and soil and erosion controls; pavement design; and site compliance plan.
