Silverton Farms Subdivision

The Silverton Farms 70-lot residential subdivision is located on a 48-acre parcel in Hilliard, Ohio. Sands Decker provided topographic mapping and plat as well as complete construction documents including street, storm, water, grading, sanitary sewers, and erosion control. The project included design of approximately 7,200 feet of curb and gutter, streets, including curb inlets, storm sewer system, sidewalks, sanitary sewers, waterlines, and lighting.

Special design considerations were needed to properly size the system and detain the correct amount of stormwater without overloading the existing outlet. Attention was given to culverts crossing the streets since invert elevations and cover over the pipes was critical. It was also necessary to widen Wilcox Road for the appropriate turning lanes due to projected increased traffic to the area.
